Sanford’s

Ali Sorenson is the rockstar behind Sanford’s bar management and drink menu, which includes the Smokey Orange Angel. The Smokey Orange Angel is a rendition of the Manhattan, and has sweet vermouth and bourbon in it, in addition to dry curacao, and orange liquor. The special ingredient is their Smoked Mandarin Honey Syrup, which Ali calls “their 13-hour long love project”. The highlight of ordering this drink is watching the smoking of the hickory wood chips. It immediately transports you into a cozy cabin by the fire!

The Beast Next Door

With a name like “Hey Blondie”, this drink will draw some attention. It’s not as obvious of a seasonal drink as others, but the visual appeal is definitely there. It makes us feel reminiscent of a classic Pina Colada, with the tastes of rum and coconut in it. However, with the addition of winter melon bitters, lime juice, basil, and melon, they created an original, creamy drink that is perfectly suited for the colder months ahead.

The added amaro, ginger and cherry liquor turn it into a cozy remedy for the winter blues. And we certainly love the taste of cherry in our drinks!

Bar Dalia

Bar Dalia went with a classic, seasonal spice this year, reigning in the fall with a drink called Smashing Pumpkins. While not everyone is a lover of pumpkin, or may I say pumpkin spice, for the ones out there that love this season—this will be a hit for you. Made with Four Roses Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, spiced maple pumpkin syrup, and a fine cinnamon sugar rim, you’ll want to come back for this cocktail again and again—while it lasts.

Mosaic Astoria

A Shot in the Dark is not for someone with a low tolerance of alcohol, as it’s heavy on the liquor and contains a small amount of Absinthe, but boy is it good! With its red color and black cherry garnish, it stands out among other, more traditional drinks. The combo of an eight-year-old Haitian rum with Plantation dark rum is excellent in taste. Yum!
