Pho-Get About Pumpkin Spice Try Tamashii Ramen
Tamashii Ramen
Tamashii Ramen rightfully claims to serve the best ramen in NYC! Though the pandemic may have disrupted our routines, there is no reason to miss out on these delectable seasonal foods.
If you have never had ramen before, now is the time to spice up your quarantine menu! Tamashii describes traditional ramen as consisting of three main components: stock, noodles and “kaeshi.” Kaeshi is a staple noodle base that is made with soy sauce, mirin, and sugar.
Tamashii has a variety of flavors that will satisfy any New Yorker’s palate. Their most popular dish is the Miso Ramen which has a soy bean flavored broth and is topped with pork, menma, egg, corn, scallion, bean sprouts, and cabbage.
Tamashii also has options for our vegetarian pals. Their Vegetable Ramen comes with the choice of Shoyu (soy sauce) or Shio (salt) broth, and an array of vegetables, including my personal favorite, bok choy.
