National chain Panera Bread aims to give back at a local level
For thirty years, Panera Bread has served hundreds of cities throughout the country. Now, more than ever, Panera Bread is committed to helping its customers and the community at large. One such example? The launch of Panera Grocery, which allows customers to purchase items such as milk, produce, and bread alongside their order. Panera Grocery can be found on Panera Bread’s website, app, and via GrubHub.
Panera Bread currently has 5 locations in Queens open in the following neighborhoods: Long Island City, Bayside, Glendale, Rego Park, and Little Neck. Panera Bread locations in Queens are owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises.
“Though Panera Bread is a national chain, we are locally owned and operated by members of the community. Our managers and staff live in Astoria, just like you. We’re your neighbors facing the same day-to-day challenges, hoping to provide comfort to our local community. We see ourselves as more of a small business and welcome the support of our community to flourish at this time”, said Ashley Cabaracas, Marketing Manager in a written statement.
The locations of Panera Bread owned by Doherty Enterprises are offering a variety of ways to help its community. These include:
– Free bread for a year for customers who purchase a Panera Bread e-gift card of $50 or more. In order to receive the free bread certificate, purchasers must email their gift or purchase confirmation to [email protected] in order to redeem the offer at Queens locations owned by Doherty Enterprises. This specific offer is valid through May 31, 2020. Gift cards are available for purchase at Panera Bread’s website.
– Every order at a Panera Bread location in Queens will include a ‘Baker’s In Training’ kit (BIT KIT), which benefits the Rainbow Movement. The BIT KIT contains includes 1 sugar cookie, 2 cups of icing, multi-colored candy drops, and a plastic knife. Customers are asked to include BIT KIT in the comments section of their online order to receive the BIT KIT with their order.
– Panera is also offering 25% of all delivery and drive-up orders using the code FIELD4051. Customers can place orders on Panera Bread’s official website and app.
