As of Friday, April 3rd, all New Yorkers are eligible to receive three free meals at city schools. The meals, known as ‘grab and go’ meals are offered at 400 schools throughout the five boroughs.
The meals are offered to children and families Mondays through Fridays from 7:30AM-11:30AM, and for adults from 11:30AM-1:30PM. Parents and guardians also have the option to pick up meals for children.
No ID is required, and no one will be turned away. All three meals are required to be picked up at once. For more information on this initiative, please visit the following website.
