Piperi Gyro

Lokanta is gone, and Piperi has moved in! It’s the new, hip Greek place that everyone’s been talking about since its opening in early April.

Their chicken gyro is everything you didn’t know you needed and makes for a perfect summer lunch on-the-go. Have a taste and you will want to come back over and over again! While there, make sure to top off your meal with their almond milk pudding!

Dough 

Dough’s doughnuts are every sweet tooth’s dream. With locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, the time was ripe to add Queens to the list. Their brioche-style donuts are unique in taste and the flavors to choose from are endless. Make sure to try their Nutella or Hibiscus donut which are some of their greatest hits.

With a grand opening in mid-May that drew a line out the door, Barrio has quickly found a happy and large customer base. This new Mexican gem will surprise you with twists on traditional Mexican cuisine and flavorful drinks to accompany it with, all for great prices and with a neighborly ambience. This soon-to-be favorite has an outstanding lobster roll along with a delicious brunch menu, with affordable classics like avocado toast, steak and eggs and even biscuits and gravy. Between the food itself, their peach Bellinis and their friendly staff, this place will turn any brunch skeptic into a believer. Go before the word gets out as reservations will soon be hard to come by!
