Officially beginning on Thursday, February 20th, fines for alternate side parking (ASP) violations have been increased to $65.

As per the Department of Sanitation, drivers who fail to move their vehicles for street cleaning will face a $65 fine in all five boroughs– a $20 increase from before for those in the outer boroughs or on/below 96th Street in Manhattan.
