If the project gets the green light, the new train line would run for approximately 16 miles and connect to 19 subway lines, as well as the LIRRGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028. The biggest hurdle for this proposed project is funding, as it has been estimated to cost about $1 billionGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028.
