As you may know, TJ Maxx, one of the largest department stores in the world, is slated to open at 22-36 31^st St. as of May 5th.

With over 1,000 locations in the U.S. alone, as well as its parent company TJX operating as TK Maxx in locations around the world such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Poland, and The Netherlands, TJ Maxx is set to become Astoria’s premier chain shopping destination.

This week, beginning April 8^th and ending April 12^th, the new Astoria location will be holding a hiring event from 9AM until 4PM for a number of roles at the store such as sales associates, customer service positions and more, both full-time and part-time.
