If you want your nostalgic strings pulled in the coming year, then 'Two Guys From Astoria' at the Greater Astoria Historical Society is probably who you should go and see. 

Joe Cicchelli Jr and Steven Fella grew up in Astoria, right on 44th street. Their talk, which includes a slideshow, will showcase all the hip and happening trends and the not so cool aspects of Astoria living in the 80's. 

The program, supported by public funds from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, is a way in which the community can come together and reminisce about old Astoria. 

In the wake of the change which Astoria has been going through over the past few years, the talk from Cicchelli and Fella is a happy way to remind us all of how it used to be. 

So bring your crew, your fashion and your memorabilia and have a listen to two boys from the hood.
