Socrates Sculpture Park Green Market Returns!
The market will run through November 21st, opening each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Located inside the Socrates Sculpture Park, this market is at the center of a favorite destination for neighboring communities. Alongside the Park’s workshops, yoga classes, sculpture exhibitions and stunning views, the Socrates Sculpture Park Greenmarket is a great place to spend a Saturday morning. Free cooking demonstrations are held weekly featuring seasonal items from the market and family friendly activities take place throughout the season.

Ballard’s Honey Honey from Delaware County, NY
Nolasco’s Farm Vegetables, Mexican specialty produce & herbs from Warren County, NJ; New Farmer Development Project participant
Red Jacket Orchard Orchard fruit and juice from Ontario County, NY
Williams Fruit Farm Orchard fruit from Ulster County, NY
You can also bring bring your compost to the park to be collected by BIG!Compost , every Saturday, from 10am to 1:00pm.!
The NYC Compost Project Hosted by Build It Green!NYC is part of a community-scale composting network that works rebuild our soils by providing New Yorkers with the knowledge, skills, and opportunties they need to produce and use compost locally. We host weekly food scrap drop-off locations, train New Yorkers in urban composting best practices, and produce high-quality compost to amend our city’s soils. The finished compost is used in community gardens, on street trees, and in public beautification projects.
