There is just a certain feeling in the air today, whether it is because of the looming three-day weekend and you will also have a shorter day tomorrow or simply because it is gorgeous out and you just feel damn good! Whatever the reason is, it is going to get a whole lot better because tonight, Thursday, June 30th at 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. is the 2016 Independence Celebration at Astoria Park Lawn. The celebration will feature the soothing melody of the Queens Symphony Orchestra followed by a spectacular fireworks display by Grucci.

Start the weekend a little earlier and bring out a blanket and your dancing shoes to celebrate freedom!
