IT’S TIME FOR OUR NEXT CONTEST!

If you’ve never been to Astor Bake Shop, you have to check it out. It’s right by the Give Me Astoria offices, and daily coffee and cookie runs have become an absolute ritual around here. It’s one of our favorite bake shops in Astoria – and for good reason.

The great thing is, they have sandwiches and other offerings – not just baked goods. And they deliver! If you want to order, you’re in luck – you can now order directly from Astor Bake Shop’s website – without having to go through the trouble of Seamless and Grubhub.

Speaking of Seamless and Grubhub, you might love ordering from them…but we’ve found out that it’s not the greatest. Local businesses have to pay astronomical fees to have themselves up there. While this might be easy for big chains, it makes life for small, local businesses much more difficult. So, order directly – there’s no middle man, and you get to really help out Astoria’s businesses!
