It’s My Park Day!

Join thousands of New Yorkers who come together each It’s My Park Day season to volunteer and celebrate their neighborhood parks and public spaces throughout the five boroughs! It’s My Park Day, presented by Partnerships for Parks , works with hundreds of community parks groups to lead clean up events in neighborhood parks all across the city.
Astoria is lucky enough to have two separate events going on to celebrate – one at Astoria Park, and one at Astoria Heights Park.
Both seem really fun – and we would definitely recommend stopping by both! We’ll probably be spending the first half of the day at Astoria Park, and after getting our Zumba fun in, head over to Astoria Heights Park!
Come out and celebrate before it gets too cold to enjoy the parks! Winter tends to creep up on us overnight.
