The Central Astoria Local Development Coalition presents its annual holiday festival and tree lighting celebration, to be held on December 8th starting at 4PM. The event is free and open to all.

The official holiday tree will be lit at 5:30PM at the Great Lawn at Astoria Park. Attendees may also enjoy fun, family-oriented activities such as balloon art, face painting, arts & crafts, and more! Photos with Santa will also be featured at the event, from 4-5:30PM. According to the flyer, hot chocolate and signature teas will be provided to those who attend the event, while supplies last.

This event is supported, in part, by public funds from Council Member Costa Constantinides, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation
