Whiskey is the word on May 9th when Ambros debuts its 100% fruit-infused beverage to the public at The Thirsty Koala. Ambros was created and developed by Queens native Sami Omar, Jeff Tomastik, and Astoria’s own Carlo Piccirillo in 2016 in Las Vegas. Piccirillo & friends came up with the concept when the group of friends, and now business partners, realized there were different types of flavored spirits, but that a 100% fruit-infused whiskey had yet to exist.

The team is partnering with Give Me Astoria and The Thirsty Koala to introduce their Ambros Banana Whiskey to the neighborhood, with a complimentary Ambros drink and $7 Ambros cocktails throughout the night. What differentiates Ambros whiskey from its competition is that Ambros’ product is 100% naturally infused with real fruit, giving the whiskey a distinct true banana flavor without losing the edge whiskey lovers crave.
