Bel Aire Diner Giving Back To Our Veterans
'It is on us', Bel Aire Diner owner Archie Dellaportas said when it comes to Veterans. This Wednesday, November 11th, from 6am to 10pm, Veterans eat for free. The Astoria iconic diner, which has been featured in a variety of shows and movies, and has been a staple for the community for decades will be paying their respects to veterans this Veterans Day.
Simply bring in your veteran's ID and eat for free, reported the Queens Gazette, who is the media sponsor for this event.
Bel Aire Diner told the Queens Gazette, that honoring the people that have maintained our democracy and kept our nation free is a noble and worthwhile concept. It is because of this sacrifice that Bel Aire believes one day just isn't enough, and so they have created a new tradition, which they hope other businesses will follow in up holding.
The Bel Aire Diner Restaurant is one of the highest rated diners in New York City. Open 24 hours, there isn't an Astorian that hasn't had a memory or two there.
The offer is dine in only and meal details are available at Bel Aire Diner.
