The building at 35-37 36th Street was sold by The Vanbarton Group, formerly Emmes Asset Management for almost $70 million dollars to an unidentified real estate agent known only as a Brooklyn based real estate family, according to therealdeal.
WeWork is the majority of the occupier, with a 15 year lease for 56,000 square feet. The Miami Ad School occupies the other 66,000-square-feet, but perhaps the most popular aspect of the building is the beer garden on the ground floor.
