On Saturday, November 22nd, the East River Kiwanis held their first Thanksgiving Food Drive for the benefit of the Food Pantry at Hour Children.  Numerous Kiwanis Members & Key Club Members came out to volunteer at the Food Drive which was jointly organized with Best Yet Supermarket. A huge amount of food and groceries were generously donated by the customers who were shopping that morning at Best Yet. It was a great success and all food and donations will be distributed to Hour Children. Jeff Smith and other volunteers assisted in unloading the truck that brought the much needed food supplies to this wonderful organization.
