The corner bakery, located at 36-02 30th Ave, is closing it’s doors after 50 years of baking up pastries, cooking, croissants and everything else under the sun. A sign posted outside the bakery reads,

“To all our customers,

After more than 50 years of business, we have decided it is time to retire.
We will be closing our doors on May 24th, 2015.
We want to thank you for your patronage and we appreciate your food wishes.

Thank you for all,

Frank and Family”

So, what do you think guys? Are you going to make one last stop? If you are, definitely grab a slice of the fresh baked bread. If sweets are more your style, try the almond or rainbow cookies!

In another vein, fifty years is a long time for such a sought after corner! We can’t wait to see what will pop up next. Crossing our fingers for something exciting – and you can bet Give Me Astoria will have the first scoop on what’s popping up!
