Rosalie’s Bar
What better way to kick off the holidays than enjoying a great drink at a new neighborhood bar? Rosalie’s is a no-frills establishment serving creative cocktails that are sure to please. Broadway’s newest bar is aptly named after Astoria legend Christopher Walken’s mother, Rosalie. Patrons can expect a variety of beers, wines, and creative cocktails from the team behind the bar. One such cocktail is Angela’s Remedy, which uses Greek mastiha to take this particular drink to the next level, a perfect splash of summer in the middle of December. Ace’s Pizza
With locations throughout the city, Ace’s Pizza has now found a new home in the heart of Long Island City. What separates Ace’s from the abundance of competition in the area? This pizza eatery serves up Detroit-style pizza, meaning pizzas are rectangular with a crunchy crust. Customers have the option of choosing a personal pizza, which consists of two hearty slices, or for larger parties, a large pie which serves up about 8 slices.
Ace’s Pizza serves up more traditional pies such as a classic cheese pie, pepperoni, and veggie, but their specialty pies are where the magic happens. The hot burrata is great for your first time: complete with burrata, Calabrian chili, tomato sauce, and basil. Toppings are also available as add-ons should you want to be creative with your pies. Ace’s Pizza also serves up cheesy breads, salads, and sandwiches to go along with your pizza.

Customers have the option to build their own bowl or meal with a wide array of choices and flavors to complete each individual dish.
