If you haven’t tried this new gem of a restaurant, then look no further when planning your next date night or celebratory occasion! The owner proudly combines his Croatian roots with Serbian dishes, yielding an amazing blend of flavors, spices, and textures. As a starter, try their monastery peppers, which are fried and stuffed with a gooey cheese that comes pouring out the second you cut it open. Once you’ve finished this tasty sensation, it’s time for the main event.

Two of their most popular entrees are karadjordjeva, a fried and rolled wiener schnitzel with crispy potatoes on the side, and their homemade Istrian gnocchi, baked to perfection and loaded with shrimp and cream sauce. Croatian food has some Italian elements to it, due to its proximity to the country, and it truly shows in Selo’s outstanding pasta creations.

For dessert, the princes krofne (cream puffs) with a cup of Turkish-inspired domaca kafa are an absolute must-try to finish off your meal. Make your reservation today!
