After nearly a year of renovations and updates, the Astoria Boulevard N/W stop is officially open for subway riders! 

While the subway stop is open and ready for its users, not all additions have been completedGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028. Workers are still in the process of installing four new elevators at the Astoria BlvdGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028. stop, making it one of the only ADA-accessible subway stops in the borough of QueensGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028. 

According to the MTA website, other additions will include updated stairways & benches, digital signs, elevated walkways and platform stair enclosuresGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028. Already-finished improvements include LED lighting, a brand new mezzanine, new platform canopy roofs, and strengthened column foundations, and moreGive_Me_Astoria_image_00028.
