Vietnamese food is the perfect cuisine to warm up with this autumn, and Chef Papa Vietnamese Kitchen is certain to hit the spot. The family-owned restaurant has another storefront in Flushing, and recently joined the Western part of Queens with a brand new location in LIC! Don’t know where to start? The pho is some of the best in the neighborhood; their signature pho is complete with beef and brisket and totally tasty. However, you can’t go wrong with any of the pho options: from seafood and veggie to chicken or short rib. Chef Papa also has a menu filled with other Vietnamese dishes, such as spring rolls, rice bowls, and Vietnamese sandwiches.

One of the best remedies for a chilly fall day is a great cup of coffee. Whether you prefer your coffee hot or iced is another story, but The Coffee Lab is here to save the day! Open daily from 7AM-9PM, The Coffee Lab gives Astoria residents the chance to work, study, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some quality coffee in an inviting, bright atmosphere. Coffee isn’t the only thing on the menu, as The Coffee Lab also serves up a variety of teas, juice, and other refreshers alongside delicious pastries to accompany your beverage. Be sure to give their seasonal pumpkin spice latte a try for a true taste of fall in Astoria!

Looking for a way to indulge in your sweet tooth this fall? Then Crepe House is definitely the place to go! Don’t be fooled by the name, though, as Crepe House has much more than crepes to offer. The dessert shop is complete with shakes, ice cream, waffles, and more. Crepes range from more simple fillings such as banana and Nutella, to more decadent options such as the viral Dubai chocolate crepe, a definite must-try at Crepe House. The best part? All specialty flavors can be made to order for either crepes, waffles, or Crepe House’s signature mini pancakes.

Astoria’s newest seafood destination, Le Petit Pecheur, has recently opened and offers customers a taste of the Mediterranean without straying too far from home. Open daily for both lunch and dinner, this seafood eatery presents the option to select your fish, choose its cooking style, and then add a delicious side dish to truly appreciate the full experience at Le Petit Pecheur. Also on the menu are an array of appetizers perfect to share with your meal, or enjoy on your own. Our recommendation? Any of the fish on the menu, grilled, with some of the eatery’s specialty Belgian-style hand-cut fries. Bon appetit!
