Boy, it feels weird to be writing about things to do that aren’t from home or between two glass dividers. You can’t have a true summer without indulging in some delicious barbeque, so why not give Addy’s a shot this time around? They’ve got an impressive menu with a little bit of everything, including a drink menu that features very summery options like Pina Colada shakes and strawberry Lassi (traditional Indian beverage). But of course, the main attraction this month is the BBQ. That’s where the Country Fried Steak and Chicken, Beef Short Ribs, Rib Eye Steak and more come in. So, take a chance and try something new. If you’ve already been to Addy’s and want to try something new, John Brown BBQ is a very worthy alternative. Their menu features different combos and platters of pulled pork, pork belly, rib tips, beef brisket, burnt ends, and cured pastrami. They’ve also got a supporting cast of chicken, specialty sandwiches, salads, and your everyday BBQ sides like mac and cheese, fries, and more.
