That dark cloud that sets in when you see a “For Lease” sign on a community gem.

After what we thought was a temporary closure in March, The Entenmanns Outlet, known for selling their famous baked goods at a fraction of what you would find them at the supermarket, has closed its doors for good. A farewell to this nostalgic spot housing all of our favorite childhood sweets. Definitely another sad loss for Astoria.

The storefront, located at 40-11 34th Avenue, is now for lease and listed by Luca Di Ciero of NY Space Finders. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
