A 38 year old woman was slashed in the neck and hand on Monday, July 20th according to a report initially published by Patch.

The victim was on 35th St. walking towards 36th Ave. when she was approached by a man who proceeded to attack her with a boxcutter. The victim was then taken to Elmhurst Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a white turtleneck and black pants. He is believed to have fled south towards 35th St.
