Popular children’s author Artie Bennett is set to come to town this Thursday, February 27th at 11AM for a reading of his new children’s book The True Story of Zippy Chippy: The Little Horse That Couldn’t!

His newest release is an inspiring story about a racehorse who never manages to win a race throughout his long career. When the racehorse is sold, he befriends his new owner’s daughter, and manages to persevere and beat the odds against him. The book contains fun illustrations and an inspiring message for its young readers.

At Thursday’s event, Bennett will also read excerpts from his previous works, including Peter Panda Melts Down!, Belches, Burps, and Farts–Oh My!, and The Universe’s Greatest Dinosaur Jokes, among others. Bring the family, and mark your calendars for Thursday for what is sure to be a fun event for all!
