Two men injured in drive-by shooting near Steinway

Police are investigating an alleged drive-by shooting which took place in the early hours of December 26th near Steinway St. & 36th Ave.

At approximately 4:30 AM, two men in their 30s were sitting in their car when they became the victims of gunfire. According to the Astoria Post, one of the men was shot in the face, arm, and leg while the second victim was shot in the arm, leg, and torso.

Both victims were fortunate enough to survive and are in stable condition. While no announcement of arrests in the incident have been made, authorities found a vehicle with multiple bullet holes near 41st St. & Broadway shortly after the shooting took place.
