Shoppers, beware: package thief targets Astoria buildings
A woman, presumed to be in her late 20s-early 30s has been making her rounds throughout multiple Astoria buildings, stealing all packages in her path.
The thief has allegedly stolen multiple packages, and as much as a bicycle, around Astoria within the last month alone. Surveillance video and images from one of her hits, a building on 42nd St., shows the suspect grabbing packages as recently as August 31st.
Below are photos of the suspect, courtesy of Astoria resident Jennifer Becker, who was unfortunately one of the thief’s victims. Becker notes that the aforementioned incidents have been reported to both the authorities, as well as USPS.
