Enjoy soccer in the sky at Upper 90!

Soccer, football—whichever you prefer to call it, has long been one of the world’s most beloved sports in all places but one: here. While soccer is certainly a popular sport, it hasn’t quite held as much weight as, say, American football. Luckily for soccer lovers, the Upper 90 Soccer Center is here to change that.

Initially opened on the Upper West Side in 2009, followed by a Brooklyn location in 2010, its third location officially opened its doors just over a year ago. Upper 90’s Queens location can be found at 34-23 38th St., in our very own Astoria. The Queens location has quickly become a hit for soccer lovers of all ages. Upper 90 offers classes for children aged 1-4 years old at its soccer center’s indoor field. Are you over the age of 4 and reading this with aspirations to become a soccer star? Fret not, Upper 90 also has adult soccer programs and pickup soccer games.

Upper 90 also boasts its Crossbar Café, where fans can unite and watch matches on the big screen all while enjoying coffee courtesy of Stumptown Coffee, as well as delicious pastries from Colson Patisserie. The space also is available to rent for events such as birthday parties, tournaments, viewing parties, and more.
