Anassa Taverna is coming to Astoria!

Astoria, known for its abundance of Greek-owned businesses, is slated to welcome a new addition soon: Upper East Side favorite Anassa Taverna is coming to 28-10 Astoria Boulevard. The restaurant’s first location, opened in 2013, has received hundreds of rave reviews and is known for its fresh seafood selection.

If the Astoria location is anything like its Manhattan storefront, diners can expect to look forward to menu items such as traditional Avgolemono, a Greek twist on the classic chicken soup dish, fresh octopus, shrimp saganaki, lavraki, and more! Anassa prides itself on its finest quality seafood, flown in from the Mediterranean and Atlantic daily.

The new location is a much-welcomed one, being that there are not many fine-dining restaurants in the Astoria Boulevard vicinity. Not the case for too much longer, as we anticipate the new Anassa location to be opened at some point later this year.
