Astoria Bank Robbed Friday Afternoon

Astoria Bank on 37-16 30th Ave. was robbed Friday at 2:05 p.m, March 4, according to Police. 

The man who appeared to be in his late 20's, approached the teller of the bank and demanded money. The teller proceeded to hand over an undisclosed amount, after which the man grabbed the cash and fled the scene.

 

According to Police, the man was described as a white male, with a beard and mustache. He stands around 6 feet tall, and weighs around 170 pounds. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, and a black coat.

According to QNS, the bank robber was connected to a previous bank robbery in a Chase Bank in Bayside, on 61-09 Springfield Blvd on Feb. 2.
