Do you have a precious bundle of joy? Or is the stork on the way? Then why not check out some of the great classes and workshops that Raising Astoria has for both the parents and the kids. 

Brought together by two Astoria friends while both were expecting their first children, owners  Laurie Nicholson and Kimberly Rossignol Montini started Raising Astoria because they wanted to offer parents products that can help them and their families. Soon, classes started happening in the back, and now, Raising Astoria has become a great place for the community and for all new or expecting parents. 

 

So check out some of the fun and exciting classes: 

 

– Tuesday mornings from 10:30am to 11:5am, the Sensory & Messy Art Class is on. The class is a fantastic way for your little bundle of joys to start exploring different art techniques, materials and colors. And hey, you don't even need to clean up the mess! Age's are 10m – 3.5y and it's $22 for a single class, with package discounts. 

– There's also Bilingual Sprouts: Spanish for Infants 6 – 18 months old. Knowing more than one language in todays world is a must, and teaching them when they're young is the best way to give them a head start. Classes are Tuesdays 11:30am and started October 13th. $25 for a Single Drop-In Session with packages available. 

– Also in the mix, this Halloween, 10/31/2015, Mr Dave Singalong will be rocking away with some awesome songs. $10 per family on the day. 

– Expecting a visit from the stork? Raising Astoria is offering classes for all Expecting Parents in Queens with Labor & Delivery Workshops which start October 13th. 

Other workshops to expect are Infant Care, CPR for Children, Breastfeeding workshops and much more….

So why not bring the kiddies over and start them early with some fun activities that will help mold their minds for a better future.
