The new and fresh resident of Astoria’s 30th Avenue, Gossip Coffee (37-04 30th Ave) was shut today by the DOH for a ‘surprise’ inspection as the workers guarding the front put it.

 

The cafe specializing in different styles of donuts has only been open for a little while and has already generated a buzz among the ‘hipster’ crowds.

 

The notice was pasted on the window, while the workers stood in front, telling customers that they were closed for a few hours for the inspection.
