It’s almost Summer, which means weekend street festivals are becoming more and more abundant – and we are definitely not complaining! They’re a great way to mill around the neighborhood, eat some awesome food, and find locally made goods. You can usually find something unique and interesting – or just have a nice day out in the sun.

 

With Monday being Memorial Day, most people are off from work – and it’s the perfect time for the Broadway Merchants Street Fair. The street fair/festival will run from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, and is officially sponsored bythe Broadway Merchants & Professionals  Association. It’ll run along Broadway from Steinway to Crescent St.

 

The street fair serves to off-set the costs of holiday lights on Broadway – so you’re making the neighborhood a little bit more beautiful by stopping by and purchasing something!
