After a tip from an awesome reader (we love when you guys keep us in the loop!) we’ve learned that Marketa, which was previously located at 37-17 30th Avenue,  will be replaced by Blend Astoria.

 

 

Blend currently has a flagship location on Vernon Boulevard in LIC where they serve up Latin American fusion food. They’re  a casual cafe & lounge serving dishes from various Latin cuisines along with cocktails.

 

 

The current location has some rave reviews, and it looks like their food is pretty tasty, too!

 

 

No word yet on an opening date – we’re guessing maybe sometime this Summer! Who plans to check it out? Is it a good addition to the Astoria scene?
