Arrest Made in Astoria Park Killing; Confirmed to be Murder

Quick justice has been served after a man was found dead in Astoria Park.
The man found dead in Astoria Park Saturday was William Kinger. His murderer was found to be 49-year-old Alexander Bonich, who has been apprehended and arrested by police.

Bonich, who lived in Astoria at 25-66 42nd Street, has been charged with 2nd degree murder.
The 114th Precinct has confirmed that this was not a random attack – the individuals knew each other – and there was clear intent behind the murder.
