We just got details on the QCA Block Party!

We recently told you guys about the awesome Queens Council on the Arts Block Party coming to the Kaufman Astoria Studios on June 21st, and we just got all the details! We’re also proud to say that we’re media sponsors!

The event will take place on Saturday the 21st from 4 to 10 pm. Tickets are $35 and you can buy them here. The entrance will be on 35th and 36th street, with the party being held in the back lot of the studios.

Now, here’s what your ticket includes:

  • A free soda or bottled water
  • A signature festival cup
  • All day access to artist activities, great local eateries & breweries, & DJ Locke playing the best beats!
  • Admission to the Best of Queens Film Festivals screening
  • Want your caricature? High School to Art School Students will do a 60 second sketch.
  • Raffle Prizes!

 

That’s pretty awesome for just $35! There’s also going to be unique and delicious food offerings from over a dozen local eateries, Kim Chi Smoke BBQ, Snowdonia, Manducatis Rustica, BareBurger, Mamu Thai, UNO Pizzeria and Grill, William Hallet, Ovelia, and a tasty variety of beer from our local breweries SingleCut Beersmiths and Rockaway Brewery.

We love that the QCA Block Party is for a good cause! The QCA Block party, the fourth Moveable Feast Artist Dinner event of QCA, is a fundraiser to support the High School to Art School Portfolio Program (HS2AS) The High School to Art School program (HS2AS) is a free portfolio development program aimed at developing and fostering an in-depth understanding of art, while guiding NYC high school students through the art college application process.
