The wait for the much-anticipated Trader Joe’s in Long Island City has been extended a bit longer: to 2021. The Real Deal reports that Trader Joe’s second Queens location will likely open within the first quarter of next year.

The store’s location is set for 22-43 Jackson Ave. The new Trader Joe’s will be located within Prime Building, an 11-story, 70-unit mixed-use building. The building, is being designed by SRA Architecture + Engineering, with development by Circle F. The Real Deal also adds that celebrity broker Ryan Serhant’s team will be in charge of sales of the condominium, with the grocery store expected to be a big selling point.
