Celebrate New Year’s Eve the Greek way at Amylos Taverna!

Amylos Taverna is bringing a bit of Greek cheer to ring in this new year! On Tuesday, December 31st, Astoria’s premier Greek & Mediterranean-style restaurant will feature a four-course prix-fixe menu and a glass of complimentary champagne for patrons who wish to celebrate the new year in style. There will be three separate seatings at 5PM, 7PM, and 9PM.

The evening will also feature Greek musical ensemble of singer Eleana Finokalioti, Christos Papadopoulos on the mandolin, and keyboardist Panos Chrysovergis. The trio was established by Chrysovergis, who recently made his debut in New York City with the Greek band ‘SYN-PHONIA’. SYN-PHONIA is a touring company which performs classic Greek music with a contemporary flare.

For those who may not know, Amylos Taverna is the modern-meets-traditional Greek restaurant owned and operated by the Arvanitis family, who are also behind Astoria’s iconic Omonia Café.
