Woman shot in Astoria

At approximately 10:00AM on July 9th, a woman was shot in the face at 23-02 34th Avenue, as per the Citizen app.

According to the report on Citizen, the male suspect fled from the scene in a red, white and blue hoodie. The victim was transported to the hospital, and is believed to remain in serious condition.
