The Central Astoria Local Development Coalition, which is an Astoria-based not-for-profit organization is coming back to host the 2nd International Cultural Festival, coming up next Saturday, May on the 21st on the Great Lawn in Astoria Park, and it's shaping up to be a big one.

Last year's celebrations were filled with events, foods, music and Astorians from all different backgrounds enjoying some fun in the sun, and this year is no exception.

Performances will include :

Ballet Los Pampas from Argentina,

KUD Halaturko from Bosnia,

Croatian Franciscan Fathers Youth Club from Croatia,

Ayazamana Cultural Center from Ecuador,

Cretan Association from Greece,

NYC Bhangra from India,

McManus School of Irish Dance from Ireland,

The Braata Folk Singers from the Caribbean/Jamaica,

Korean Traditional Music and Dance Center from Korea.

There's also going to be a ton of other family friends events to choose from.

So bring the family, grab some friends, and some blankets or chairs and come down to Astoria Park for some relaxing Spring fun and activities. We're all hoping that International Cultural Fest will definitely be a recurring event.
