Another Manhole Fire in Astoria

It seems manhole fires are becoming more and more common in Astoria.

 

Today a manhole on 35th avenue caught fire, causing local businesses including Life Health and Fitness gym to temporarily close.

 

Con Edison was on the scene, and thankfully no one was hurt.
