Home Invasion and Shooting in Astoria

Based on exclusive details from the 114th precinct we’ve learned of a recent home invasion and robbery in Astoria.

The crime occurred late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, at around 12:00 am, on Wednesday October 15th.

The precinct reports that they received a distressed 911 call of a robbery in progress, in the basement of a residence located in the vicinity of 12th street and 31st avenue.

Upon arrival, NYPD officers learned that two unknown males pushed their way into the location, brandishing firearms.

They then shot one victim in the leg.

The perpetrators are believed to be either black or dark-skinned Hispanic, and around 5’ 6”. They fled in an unknown direction, and have not yet been caught.
