We made it!

December is here, which means the holidays and yes, the end of 2020, the most tumultuous year in recent memory.

Things have not been easy. With the presidential elections over, the COVID vaccine awaiting final approval and an economy no longer in free fall but slowly working its way towards recovery, Astoria and in fact all of New York City are waiting to rejoice at the news that this nightmare which we have been living will soon be over.

In this end of the year issue, we invite you to check out our December offerings which we hope will make this holiday season a bit more tolerable. Enjoy the many wonderful cafés throughout the neighborhood now offering delicious hot beverages that are certain to get you in the holiday spirit. Also, in our last issue of 2020, we have included a list of excellent restaurants and holiday events that we guarantee will be fun for the entire family.

As we move forward to 2021, we anticipate the year of transition with great caution and with much joy.
