Family-owned Trestle Astoria is proud to be part of our community, especially at a time such as this. “People have really shown that they care about the community and the workers, and their neighborhood in general” says Jacqueline Kelly, General Manager of Trestle Astoria.
Brother/sister duo Joey Brown (owner) and Jacqueline Kelly (General Manager) have ties to Astoria for 4 generations. They also operate Rocky McBride’s, and have extended their family by hiring friends from the neighborhood as part of their staff.
Trestle Astoria has certainly faced its share of difficulties, even before COVID-19. About two years ago, the restaurant caught fire but was fortunately able to reopen and come back stronger than before. In the face of adversity, Trestle has always been able to keep morale positive and the community well-fed.
Trestle is currently only open Friday through Sunday, but continues to offers delicious options sure to keep Astorians happy for pick-up, only.
Trestle’s current promotions include:
- Breakfast In Bed: Available on Saturdays & Sundays; consists of 2 brunch entrees, 1 bottle of champagne, and 1 16oz. cup of orange or peach juice for $30.
- Netflix & Chill: Available Friday through Sunday; consists of 2 16 oz. frosé or 2 cans of Blue Point Shore Thing or 1 1.75L bottle of Pinot Grigio or Merlot, in addition to 1 appetizer, any 2 entree items, and 1 dessert.
- 16 oz. Frosé: Trestle is offering its signature frosé drink at $16 for 16 oz.
- 15% off Gift Cards: Trestle is also offering 15% off gift cards for customers to make use of at their leisure.
Kelly also recommends directly ordering from the restaurant itself, as much as possible, as this benefits restaurants and their staff greatly, as well as ensuring a smooth pick-up process.
Give Me Astoria would like to thank the Kelly family and the staff of Trestle Astoria for all of their hard work and their generous donation to feeding the Mount Sinai Queens staff. The team behind Trestle is also fundraising for the staff of Trestle and Rocky McBride’s on GoFundMe.
